New Membership Structure
In past years, Grove Park Community Garden members have enjoyed relaxed membership in the garden. We are trying out a new approach that is more structured and should spur more community interest, active participation, provide for expansion and sustainability of the garden. We are introducing new garden membership options this year.
New persons interested in obtaining a garden plot will need to submit an application. Once selected, the appropriate dues must be submitted by the deadline to validate the membership and a garden plot will be assigned to your household.
Current members that would like to continue in their current garden plot, or change to an available one, are now required to register their household and submit the appropriate dues before the deadline.
In addition to memberships that include a garden plot, we are inviting anyone who would like to support Grove Park Community Garden to register for a Friends of Grove Park Community Garden membership. This option, for a small membership fee, offers the same benefits that plot holders possess without the responsibility for a garden bed.
